Putting my Mother into a Nursing Home. All of my Life, and hers, I'd promised both of my late parents, that there would be NO Nursing Homes for either of them. Unfortunately, with Cancer, my Mother's Doctors would not allow it to be any other way. She wasn't able to speak any longer; the cancer had metastasized to her Brain. She needed Skilled Nursing Care. I don't regret dong what had to be done, but, by far, it was THE hardest thing I've ever had to do. R.I.P., my dear Mother, Father, and 2 older Brothers.
